It also coordinates the Mobilization and Outreach Committee.   <\/span><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<h3><b>About Transition en Commun<\/b><\/h3>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/transitionencommun.org\/en\/\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Transition en Commun (TeC)<\/span><\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> brings together an alliance of citizens, stakeholders, and civil society organizations, the City of Montreal, and other institutions around a collaborative process with two overarching objectives: (1) to foster, promote, celebrate, and mobilize support for a shared vision of socio-ecological transition (SET); (2) to collectively equip ourselves with the means to implement it, notably through new commitments from the relevant institutions, starting in Montr\u00e9al\/Tiohti\u00e0:ke and to support neighborhood-led mobilization for the transition.<\/span><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Our VISION for the socio-ecological transition is based on:<\/span><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Neighbourhoods and local life<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Citizen participation, democracy and the creation of commons<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Social economy and social innovation<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Equity, diversity and inclusion, reinforcing the links between social justice and environnemental action<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Culture and the creation of a mobilizing storytelling<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<h3><b>Roles and Responsibilities  <\/b><\/h3>\n<ul>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Communications Coordination  <\/span>\n<ul>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"2\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Coordinate internal communications (with members) and external communications (with the public);<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"2\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Participate in the design of a 360-degree communications strategy for TeC (a project outsourced to an external firm) and its implementation<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"2\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Ensure that the brand identity, communication strategies, artistic direction, and graphic style guides are maintained across the organization\u2019s platforms and in its productions;<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"2\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Develop and implement targeted communications strategies (social media, website, events, media, newsletters, etc.);<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"2\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Coordinate the publishing schedule for social media and the newsletter;<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"2\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Ensure that the website is updated and developed (in collaboration with the external firm);<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"2\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Write content for various communication platforms and develop partnerships for special content;<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"2\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Manage relationships with our suppliers related to communications projects;<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"2\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Help organize certain events (training sessions, webinars, presentations, etc.)\u2014in collaboration with the general coordination team;<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"2\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Create presentation tools;<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"2\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Manage media relations;<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"2\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Support the preparation of public statements by representatives of the alliance and its governing bodies;<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"2\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Support the coordinating bodies of TeC\u2019s committees and governing bodies in their communications initiatives and strategies.<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Coordination of the <\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/drive.google.com\/file\/d\/1PqVXvjwsLjGy6PWdVveKnuGijESdaUYU\/view?usp=share_link\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Outreach and Mobilization Committee<\/span><\/a>\n<ul>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"2\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Coordinate the logistics for the group&#8217;s activities (venue, schedules, invitations, etc.)<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"2\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Manage the budget allocated to the group in collaboration with general management<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"2\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Prepare, facilitate, and follow up on meetings, in close collaboration with the co-chairs<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"2\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Engage committee members and facilitate interpersonal communication<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"2\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Serve as a liaison with other TeC departments and bodies, including general coordination<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"2\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Coordinate the documentation of the committee&#8217;s work<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"2\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Coordinate the assignment of tasks to third parties (students, interns, consultants, etc.)<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h3><b>Required Qualifications, Experience, and Profile  <\/b><\/h3>\n<ul>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">At least 5 years of relevant experience related to the position<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Relevant experience in communications within the institutional sector or nonprofit organizations<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Excellent command of French, both written and spoken. Our team meets and works on a regular basis in shared workspaces (Cit\u00e9 des Hospitali\u00e8res and Ateliers de la transition RPP), and we really enjoy moving from neighborhood to neighborhood (in Montreal\/Tiohti\u00e0:ke) to get a better feel for the unique characteristics of each area.   <\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Special attention is given to the work environment, collaboration among colleagues, and team dynamics. The organization is based on the principles of participatory management, inclusion, collaborative learning, mutual support, and collegiality.   <\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Transition en Commun places the well-being of its team at the heart of its priorities.  <\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Work hours and work methods are flexible.  <\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Our internal policies provide for employee benefits (health insurance, paid time off, cell phone and computer allowances, etc.) and place a special emphasis on inclusive practices (justice, equity, diversity, and inclusion).  <\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Starting pay range: $32\/hour to $40\/hour.
