Call for Expressions of Interest – TEC 2026 Neighborhood Tours

The year 2026 is fast approaching! We warmly invite you to express your interest in hosting a neighborhood tour in your area sometime next year. These tours are an opportunity to share your initiatives, successes, and local challenges with key players in the socio-ecological transition.

How can you express your interest?
We invite you to contact Marlies, coordinator of Espace Quartiers at marlies@transitionencommun.org. She will be happy to discuss this further with you and explore the possibilities for a potential neighborhood visit in your area.

You can express your interest on your own or in collaboration with other local organizations (citizen groups, community organizations, institutions, etc.), which is, in fact, encouraged.

When will the tours take place?
Four tours will be organized in 2026.
Possible dates:

February–March
May–June
September–October
November–December

Why should TEC visit your area?
Neighborhoods play a central role in the TSE. It is essential to recognize their importance, their unique characteristics, and the initiatives emerging within them. With this in mind, we have organized neighborhood visits: they offer a valuable opportunity to highlight what is happening locally—promising projects, achievements, and challenges—while providing a platform to convey strong political messages and increase the visibility of local initiatives. These visits therefore allow participants to discover the realities of the te rrain, to promote citizen-led initiatives, and to give neighborhoods a voice.
