In September, neighborhoods celebrate the transition

In September, the socio-ecological transition is celebrated through the lens of Montreal’s neighborhoods and communities. Citizen-led projects, collaborative efforts, and neighborhood and student initiatives come together to celebrate what’s already being done, to build connections, to raise awareness about the intersection of social and environmental issues, and to highlight the urgent need for action.

Several events have taken place since the start of the school year, and others are coming up—be sure to check them out. Music, laughter, art, culture, and joy come together with deep conversations about structural challenges that call for collective action.

We commend the efforts of the communities and organizers, without whom these events would not be possible, and invite you to get to know them.
