A New Community Climate Resilience Coalition for the Alliance

The Alliance’s new Montreal Collective for Community Climate Resilience is launched!
The result of several months of collective discussions held during the alliance’s events and the mobilization of various partners, including the CMTQ, the BTER, the DRSP, the Labo Équité Climat, and the Housing in Transition Working Group, this collective aims to bring together and strengthen existing climate resilience initiatives in Montreal with a view toward social transformation.
The Collective will strengthen mechanisms for consultation and collaboration among institutions, community organizations, and citizens, and will support the creation of new spaces for collaboration. The goal is to empower citizens and communities to act on climate resilience and to create the conditions necessary for these initiatives to serve as catalysts for social transformation.
The Collective will be established gradually over the coming weeks and will serve as a new project/thematic working group for TeC.
A launch event will be held soon—feel free to subscribe to our newsletter to stay informed.
