On September 28, nearly a hundred of us took to the streets of Montréal-Nord to listen to the voices of the neighborhood!
Many of you told us it was a transformative day. A huge thank you to our neighborhood hosts and the tour organizers: Hoodstock and Parole d’excluEs, in collaboration with the Montréal-Nord Borough. With brilliance and boldness, you showed us and brought to life the realities of the Hood—its vitality and complexity, its origins, its strengths, its high level of skills, its community organizing, and its people… but also the conditions needed to move forward, concrete solutions, the need for financial resources and solidarity to make it happen, and the importance of these elements. The message has been heard loud and clear. We’re going to roll up our sleeves collectively to respond to it.
