August 28–29: Ruptures Summer Camp & Launch of the Resilience Collective

It is with great pleasure that we invite you to this third edition of the Alliance’s Summer Camp, themed “Rupture(s).” In the face of a geopolitical, social, and environmental crisis, it’s time to shift our narrative, broaden our audience, and accelerate our action. With municipal elections on the horizon, join us for a strategic and festive event to accelerate the transition in Montreal!

The socio-ecological transition requires profound and rapid transformations. “Break with the past”—the central theme of this summer camp—is no longer an option but a necessity. With just a few weeks to go before the start of the municipal election campaign and in the face of a geopolitical, social, and environmental crisis, it is time to change our narrative, broaden our audience, and take concrete action.
So we’ll be meeting at the Cité des Hospitalières, on August 28 and 29 for a diverse program, developed in collaboration with alliance members, featuring hands-on workshops, training sessions, speed co-creation activities, discussions on available strategies for action, outdoor activities, and much more.
This summer camp will be a unique opportunity to improve our strategies, refine our messages, and strengthen our capacity for collective action at a pivotal moment for the socio-ecological transition in Montreal, as the municipal elections approach.
Please also note that this will be an opportunity to introduce the new Montreal Collective for Community Climate Resilience and celebrate its official launch! If you’d like to attend this part of the Camp, you’ll need to register specifically for it using the button at the end of this article.
To wrap up this year’s camp, there will be a big party at a different venue with a larger capacity. Registration for the party will be handled separately; so subscribe to our newsletter so you don’t miss the invitation.
